About This Role
- Monitor and troubleshoot data loading processes in production to ensure data accuracy and timely issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain automated scripts and tools for data extraction, loading, validation, and visualization.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to implement integrations and maintain data pipeline quality in a 24x7 environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 0 to 2 years work experience in large data integration and data warehousing environments.
- Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role with proficiency in Python, Unix, SQL, Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub workflows, and job scheduling tools like Control-M or Airflow.
- Location: Bangalore, India office; Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field preferred but not explicitly mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working with diverse data sources including flat files, Excel, Access, Oracle, Hadoop, Azure, GCP, and AWS ecosystems.
- Capable of performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures for recurring data issues.
- Ability to operate effectively in a 24x7 production support environment with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
