About This Role
- Lead research and technical direction for large language models, speech understanding, retrieval, and agentic AI systems.
- Design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art AI models and scalable training/inference pipelines on real customer-scale data.
- Mentor engineers and establish technical standards while collaborating across product, platform, and engineering teams to ship AI features.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years applying ML/AI in production settings with demonstrable deployed impact.
- Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field, or equivalent research experience.
- Deep expertise in deep learning including LLMs, transformers, and at least one area: speech/ASR, NLP, information retrieval, or multimodal modeling.
- Expert proficiency in Python and major deep learning framework (PyTorch preferred); hands-on experience with distributed training and large model serving.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior individual contributor capable of bridging cutting-edge AI research with production deployment.
- Proven technical leadership in setting AI research direction and mentoring engineers within cross-functional teams.
- Strong background in conversational AI or speech analytics and familiarity with model safety, alignment, or agentic AI systems is a plus.
