About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs, services, and distributed systems supporting Stripe merchants' data pipelines delivering petabytes of data daily with high reliability and low latency.
- Collaborate with multiple engineering teams and stakeholders across Stripe to implement new features at large scale affecting financial platform systems and user-facing business impact.
- Ensure high system availability (targeting 99.99%) and near real-time data freshness across multiple data warehouse platforms under strict SLAs.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years experience delivering, extending, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
- Demonstrated ability designing elegant system abstractions, particularly in the financial industry context.
- Strong ownership and accountability for production systems quality and project completion involving diverse technologies.
- Work Experience Required: 7+ years in relevant large-scale distributed systems roles.
