Own end-to-end project purchasing activities including new part and vendor development, cost negotiation, zero-based costing, and strategic sourcing for mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
Manage quality, cost, and delivery targets while coordinating cross-functional teams including Central Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing departments.
Act as a key representative in new product development projects, ensuring preventive quality planning and managing change for developed parts, with requirement-based domestic and international travel.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
6 to 10 years of experience in purchasing parts, preferably with project purchasing or program management exposure.
Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
Willingness to relocate to Germany for the first year of employment.
