About This Role
- Execute risk-based compliance testing and monitoring of Ameriprise Bank, FSB business functions, ensuring adherence to federal banking laws and internal policies.
- Identify compliance risks and control gaps; prepare detailed observations with root cause analysis and remediation recommendations.
- Support regulatory change management, collaborate with global teams, and participate in regulatory examinations and audits.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4-6 years of banking, compliance, risk, audit, regulatory or financial services experience.
- Strong understanding of consumer banking products, operations, and compliance risk management frameworks.
- Ability to work U.S. business hours during evening shift (4:45 PM to 1:15 AM IST).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in banking compliance with solid knowledge of U.S. federal banking regulations including CFPB, OCC, and FDIC guidance.
- Proven track record conducting compliance testing, risk assessments, and reviews of marketing, customer communications, and digital content.
- Comfortable working in a global environment supporting U.S. partners and collaborating across legal, risk, audit, and operational teams.
