About This Role
- Lead and drive results on large-scale or multiple medium projects, including application development using methodologies for design, coding, testing, and implementation.
- Provide architectural guidance, conduct design and code reviews for Agile, Plan of Record (POR), and Next Gen Architecture (NGA) projects, and promote design patterns applicable to NGA architectures.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and unblock teams while collaborating with TPMs, engineering managers, and business stakeholders to align delivery with strategic objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years design and development experience with Java Microservices, REST API, MongoDB, Oracle, OpenShift, Kafka; Pega preferred.
- 6-10 years in Apps Development or senior Enterprise Architecture role with subject matter expertise.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 12 years relevant experience in software engineering and architecture roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader capable of independent decision-making with significant business impact, especially in distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, PCF, Akamai).
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, software design patterns, and CI/CD automation within large-scale, cross-functional projects.
- Comfortable driving strategic architectural initiatives and mentoring engineering teams while managing complex project risks and trade-offs in a fintech environment.
