Manage daily transportation operations including vehicle placement, shipment dispatch, routing, and delivery schedules to meet SLAs and KPIs.
Oversee 3PL partners and transportation vendors by monitoring performance, conducting reviews, and driving corrective actions.
Validate transportation costs, ensure legal compliance, maintain documentation, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize costs and service levels.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
5–7 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, distribution, or 3PL operations, with India-specific vendor experience.
Strong knowledge of Indian transportation practices, documentation, and statutory compliance.
Experience with ERP/TMS systems and MS Excel.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced working with multiple 3PLs and logistics partners in India, handling transport and vendor management at scale.
Demonstrated ability to manage transportation cost, operational KPIs (e.g., On-Time Delivery, Vehicle Utilization), and compliance rigorously.
Comfortable driving process improvements in complex, distribution-intensive industries like FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, or Manufacturing.
