About This Role
- Manage daily transportation operations including vehicle placement, shipment dispatch, routing, and delivery schedules to meet SLAs and KPIs.
- Oversee 3PL partners and transportation vendors by monitoring performance, conducting reviews, and driving corrective actions.
- Validate transportation costs, ensure legal compliance, maintain documentation, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize costs and service levels.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, distribution, or 3PL operations, with India-specific vendor experience.
- Strong knowledge of Indian transportation practices, documentation, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with ERP/TMS systems and MS Excel.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced working with multiple 3PLs and logistics partners in India, handling transport and vendor management at scale.
- Demonstrated ability to manage transportation cost, operational KPIs (e.g., On-Time Delivery, Vehicle Utilization), and compliance rigorously.
- Comfortable driving process improvements in complex, distribution-intensive industries like FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, or Manufacturing.
