About This Role
- Drive proactive improvement and automation in the Production environment to enhance application stability and reduce technical debt.
- Lead incident and problem resolution for critical client-facing Corporate Bank applications, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
- Partner globally across development, infrastructure, and production teams to optimize processes, manage risks, and maintain production platform performance and resiliency.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of IT experience in large corporate or Financial Services production environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient with UNIX/Linux, databases (Oracle/MSSQL), scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), automation tools (Ansible, RPA), and monitoring tools (Geneos, Splunk, Grafana).
- Experience with Service Operations, ITIL practices, production support, and global virtual team environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader with people management and ability to self-manage workload with clear communication in high-severity incidents.
- Strong technical expertise spanning application support, complex IT infrastructure, and production engineering with focus on automation and continuous service improvement.
- Familiarity with Cloud (Google Cloud), container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes), DevOps/CI-CD pipelines, and supporting complex applications in a global transactional banking context.
