Lead comprehensive manual and automated application-layer and network-layer penetration tests to identify and validate security vulnerabilities.
Validate segmentation and isolation controls for the Cardholder Data Environment, including re-testing post-remediation.
Collaborate with internal teams and external security firms to ensure compliance with security standards like PCI DSS and SOC.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing or application security engineering.
Proficiency with security testing tools (e.g., BurpSuite Enterprise, SAST, DAST, IAST) and scripting/programming languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, or Bash.
Strong understanding of web-based attacks and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, TLS, IPSEC).
Relevant security certification(s) such as OSCP, CEH, OSWE, or CISSP.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in conducting end-to-end penetration tests and vulnerability assessments at both application and network layers.
Capable of independently managing security testing workflows and communicating findings to diverse audiences.
