Design and implement enhancements and programming changes for systems software, networking infrastructure, and control-plane software.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, debug, and resolve code and integration issues for assigned application components.
Collaborate with management and internal and outsourced development partners to communicate design status, project progress, and resolve issues throughout all project phases.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
6-9 years of relevant software engineering experience.
Proficiency in C/C++, data structures, algorithms, and Linux/FreeBSD OS concepts.
Experience with routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), MPLS signaling protocols (RSVP, LDP), and multicast protocols (PIM, IGMP).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in designing and debugging complex network systems and subsystems software with strong analytical skills.
Able to communicate technical architectures and negotiate solutions with management and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with Layer 2 switching technologies (EVPN, VXLAN, VPLS, L2VPN) and AI-assisted software development practices is a plus.
