Designs and delivers backend Java architectures for performance-critical services, including developing secure, high-quality production code.
Leads CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud production workloads (AWS/Azure).
Uses AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve code quality and productivity while ensuring security and peer-validated outputs.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
Expertise in Java backend development, RESTful/gRPC services, messaging platforms (Kafka, MQ), and relational/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Cassandra).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools with ability to critically validate outputs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in secure SDLC, secrets management, TLS/mTLS, vulnerability management, and operational reliability (SLIs/SLOs, incident response).
Skilled in observability (metrics, logging, tracing), alerting, and driving systemic reliability improvements in collaboration with SRE teams.
Familiar with responsible AI integration into engineering workflows and able to guide teams on secure and effective AI tool usage.
