Manage component and new part development including vendor development, cost negotiation, and strategic sourcing for mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
Responsible for achieving quality, cost, and delivery targets, including supplier selection through RFQ, evaluation, and techno-commercial discussions.
Coordinate cross-functional interfaces for project management, preventive quality planning (VQP), material ratio planning, change management, and represent in new product development projects (PEP).
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
6 to 10 years of experience in purchasing parts, with preferred expertise in project purchasing/program management for casting, machining, and forging components.
Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
Willingness to relocate to Germany for the first year of employment.
