About This Role
- Manage component and new part development including vendor development, cost negotiation, and strategic sourcing for mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
- Responsible for achieving quality, cost, and delivery targets, including supplier selection through RFQ, evaluation, and techno-commercial discussions.
- Coordinate cross-functional interfaces for project management, preventive quality planning (VQP), material ratio planning, change management, and represent in new product development projects (PEP).
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in purchasing parts, with preferred expertise in project purchasing/program management for casting, machining, and forging components.
- Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Willingness to relocate to Germany for the first year of employment.
