Design, implement, test, deploy, and operate Alternative Payment Methods (APM) microservices and components.
Deliver non-card payment integrations including building adapters/connectors, supporting provider APIs, webhooks, and local payment regulations.
Participate in on-call rotation with runbook adherence, improve monitoring (metrics, logs, traces), conduct code reviews, triage bugs, refactor code, and collaborate across product, QA, SRE, compliance, and regional teams to meet launch deadlines.
Minimum Requirements
3 to 6 years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Docker.
Strong practice of Test Driven Development (TDD) with automated testing: unit, integration, and contract tests.
Experience with distributed systems concepts (idempotency, retries/backoff, timeouts, circuit breakers), CI/CD, GitHub workflows, and Agile delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in building and operating microservices in payment or fintech domains, especially with Alternative Payment Methods (APMs).
Skilled in iterative integration with provider sandboxes, certifications, and phased rollouts for fast delivery.
Comfortable working in collaborative global teams managing complex distributed systems with a focus on reliability, observability, and scalable integrations.
