About This Role
- Own and evolve LinkedIn’s Atlassian platform strategy, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management, focusing on scalability, reliability, governance, and employee experience.
- Design, build, and maintain integrations, automations, APIs, and custom capabilities connecting Atlassian products with LinkedIn internal systems to improve productivity and reduce operational overhead.
- Drive adoption of AI-first workflows leveraging Atlassian, Rovo, and internal AI platforms to automate work and improve employee productivity while providing operational support including on-call incident response.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Deep expertise with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, JSM) including workflows, permissions, automation, and platform lifecycle management.
- Experience building integrations, automations, and APIs using webhooks, REST, scripting, or programming languages such as Python.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in enterprise-scale platform engineering with strong software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and design.
- Skilled in identity and access management (SSO, SAML, SCIM, OAuth) and security governance for enterprise platforms.
- Able to influence cross-functional teams and vendors, translating complex platform challenges into scalable technical solutions and strategies.
