About This Role
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems across on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
- Own end-to-end feature development and modernization of enterprise applications including real-time data processing solutions using Kafka or similar technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure high-quality software delivery, perform root cause analysis, support production issues, and leverage AI technologies to enhance engineering productivity and products.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years software engineering experience in a product-based or technology-driven organization.
- Proficiency in Java and solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Design, system design concepts including scalability and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Event Hubs).
- Experience with cloud (Azure), on-premises, hybrid architectures, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and modernizing high-volume, scalable APIs and distributed systems in hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong systems thinker with deep knowledge of messaging platforms and performance optimization under real-world constraints.
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with AI integration and AI-assisted development tools to drive product and productivity improvements.
