Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Lead development and implementation of R&D data strategy, governance, and management to ensure FAIR data practices across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
Collaborate with R&D, Digital, IT, and Business teams to identify data needs, design solutions, and oversee seamless data flow from ingestion to access, including defining data standards and taxonomies.
Manage complex data programs, mentor junior data roles, evaluate new technologies, and drive change management and stakeholder communication for data governance initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or Information Technology.
Experience Required: Experience in business data management, information architecture, technology, or related field; strong knowledge of data governance functions and cross-industry data standards.
Good understanding of pharma R&D processes, especially in development areas like CMC and Clinical trials data.
Basic programming skills and strong stakeholder management capabilities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong background in R&D data strategy and governance with deep understanding of data modeling, ontology management, and clinical trial data requirements.
Experience in managing complex data programs in matrix or direct line functions with demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate across business and technical stakeholders.
