About This Role
- Design, develop, implement, and document high-performance, scalable applications supporting Walmart International's supply chain and customer experience.
- Drive technical solutions, design discussions, and decisions working closely with architects and cross-functional teams, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets within architectural guidelines.
- Engage with product management, business, and global Walmart engineering teams to align priorities and deliver cloud-based microservices projects with end-to-end ownership.
Minimum Requirements
- 11+ years of experience in design and development of highly-scalable applications including platform development.
- Proficient in Java microservices development using frameworks like SpringBoot or Dropwizard and in cloud & microservice architecture including container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field with at least 4 years of software engineering experience; OR 6 years of software engineering experience without a degree.

- Experienced in agile methodologies and DevOps/CI-CD tooling (Git, Maven, Jenkins) with proven delivery of cloud-based projects with end-to-end ownership.

- Ability to collaborate across international teams and align product and technical strategy with business priorities in a global retail environment.
