Drive design, development, and implementation of scalable, multi-tenant platform solutions supporting Walmart's global Marketplace seller growth across multiple countries.
Lead architecture, coding, debugging, optimization, and monitoring of applications ensuring robust performance and adherence to quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Mentor junior engineers, collaborate with product and UX/UI teams, influence technical decisions, and participate in hiring and building high-performing agile teams.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 6 years of software engineering experience; 10+ years preferred for this role.
Strong proficiency in Java, Scala, or Golang; hands-on experience with Microservices, RESTful APIs, and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Experience in Cloud Architecture (preferably Azure), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins), and agile methodologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience leading the design and delivery of multi-billion dollar scale platforms involving complex global business problems.
Proven ability to drive technical strategy, manage technical debt and modernization, and implement best practices including non-functional standards.
Track record of mentoring senior engineers, driving architecture discussions, and contributing to open-source communities in a large, distributed engineering environment.
