About This Role
- Manage and lead a team of 5-10 software engineers and engineering leads across multiple technology stacks including Java and NodeJS.
- Drive the design, development, implementation, and documentation of scalable, robust, and resilient distributed backend systems supporting transportation optimization and planning at massive scale.
- Collaborate with product, business stakeholders, architects, and senior leadership to define technical vision, roadmaps, and delivery priorities aligned with organizational goals.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 12+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years managing engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with Java and NodeJS backend systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions desirable.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins), testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito), databases (Relational and NoSQL), caching technologies (Redis, Memcache), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader capable of managing and mentoring high-performing agile teams in a large-scale distributed system environment.
- Strong technical background in microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native development practices for logistics and supply chain domains or similar complexity.
- Proven ability to collaborate across geographic regions and engage with cross-functional teams including product, business, and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and product roadmaps.
