About This Role
- Architect and develop highly scalable, robust, cloud-based AI platforms enabling store associates to create and deploy AI agents and governance workflows.
- Design and implement foundational engines powering AI agent creation, automated evaluation, and enterprise-grade governance pipelines for internal Walmart stakeholders.
- Deliver solutions impacting millions of global Walmart associates, addressing complex business problems across multiple countries and massive data scale.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Minimum 10 years of object-oriented programming experience including Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React TypeScript, Nest, Node TypeScript.
- 10+ years' experience in systems design, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (OpenStack, Azure, GCP, or AWS) and Agile methodologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior software engineer with strong expertise in building large scale distributed cloud applications, particularly for AI or intelligent automation platforms.
- Experience delivering complex software solutions impacting millions of end users across multiple countries and enterprise-wide adoption.
- Preferably has background in Finance, retail or e-commerce domains, with strong problem-solving and solid computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
