About This Role
- Lead senior engineering leaders and architects to build and evolve Global Catalog capabilities across product data, content, seller enablement, and platform services.
- Define and execute technology strategy and roadmap aligning with Walmart's business priorities, focusing on platform transformation, scalable self-service capabilities, reusable services, and AI-driven solutions.
- Drive strategic initiatives, stakeholder alignment, and build a high-performing engineering organization responsible for highly scalable, reliable distributed systems within the Global Catalog ecosystem.
Minimum Requirements
- 20+ years of technology leadership experience including managing large engineering organizations (200+ engineers) and developing senior leaders and architects.
- Deep expertise in building and scaling large-scale distributed systems emphasizing reliability, availability, performance, security, and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or 10+ years software engineering experience with 5 years supervisory experience.
- Based in Bengaluru office; experience with platform, commerce, marketplace, or enterprise product organizations preferred.

- Proven ability to define and execute long-term technology and platform strategies balancing strategic investments with near-term business objectives.
- Experienced in leading platform and AI/ML-powered systems at scale with strong technology and architectural leadership.
- Strong executive presence with ability to influence and align complex global cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Business, and Data Science.
