Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end test automation frameworks for Walmart's retail and eCommerce applications, covering web, API, and Kafka event contracts.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and develop performance/load testing for production-scale systems on GCP and Azure.
Implement test data management, analyze test failures, maintain quality dashboards, and deploy/operate test infrastructure including Kubernetes and cloud environments.
Minimum Requirements
3–5 years of hands-on software engineering experience focused on test automation and quality engineering.
Proficiency with at least one major E2E automation framework: Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, or Cypress.
Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related area with 2 years experience OR 4 years experience in software engineering without degree.
Strong Java and JavaScript/TypeScript skills, experience with API testing, CI/CD integration, containerized environments, Kafka, and SQL (relational and NoSQL).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in designing and owning complex test automation frameworks integrated into modern CI/CD workflows at scale.
Familiar with cloud-based test infrastructure (GCP, Azure), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and advanced quality engineering practices including shift-left testing and AI-assisted test tooling.
Knowledgeable about retail/eCommerce platform testing including performance, accessibility, microservices contract testing, and observability tooling for failure triage.
