Lead and grow a high-performing embedded OS software engineering team developing next-generation Smart TV platform.
Define technical strategy and oversee the design, development, testing, and release of core OS software and firmware ensuring performance and reliability.
Collaborate across functions (product, hardware, QA, third-party partners) for timely delivery and drive recruitment and budget planning.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
12+ years of overall software engineering experience with 5+ years in management.
Proficient in C, C++11/14 and embedded systems development including device drivers, kernel modules, board bring-up, memory management, SELinux, Docker, and build environments.
Experience in defining validation/release processes including automated testing for embedded systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing and mentoring software/firmware engineers within embedded OS platforms at scale, focusing on reliability and performance.
Strong coding and debugging skills with hands-on experience in HAL layer, IPC, multi-threading, and core dump analysis.
Strategic operator capable of cross-functional leadership and driving technical vision, recruitment, and team growth in a fast-paced product development environment.
