Manage daily control room operations including monitoring and incident management to ensure batch jobs meet SLAs.
Perform system health monitoring, batch job controls (Control-M), and execute operational procedures like IPLs and maintenance on mainframe systems (z/OS).
Handle incident logging via ServiceNow, escalate issues appropriately, support data center operations, and maintain communication during shift handovers.
Minimum Requirements
1-3 years experience in technology operations, control room, or system administration.
Basic knowledge of mainframe environments (z/OS), batch processing, JCL, and job scheduling tools like Control-M.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems and monitoring tools such as Chronos.
Ability to work in 24x7 rotating shift environment; role based in Chennai office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience supporting critical batch processing and mainframe system environments with operational responsibility for SLA compliance.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-availability 24/7 support settings with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Proven ability to follow established SOPs for incident handling, escalation, and documentation using tools like ServiceNow and collaboration platforms (Zoom, Teams, Slack).
