About This Role
- Own and architect a large-scale Kubernetes platform addressing challenges in scalability, reliability, and high availability at Walmart scale.
- Drive technical direction and evolution of the platform focusing on scalability, security, automation, operational excellence, and developer productivity.
- Lead cross-team engineering efforts by mentoring engineers, guiding technical decisions, and promoting adoption of modern platform capabilities including AI-driven enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field AND 6 years software engineering experience OR 8 years software engineering experience without degree.
- Expertise in large-scale Kubernetes and distributed systems with hands-on experience in building and operating mission-critical workload platforms.
- Strong skills in architecture definition, technical leadership, and scalable, secure, reliable system design.
- Work Location: Bangalore or Chennai office, India.
