Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and patient-facing applications for Walmart's pharmacy and health platforms.
Build and maintain secure, HIPAA-compliant systems handling sensitive electronic patient health information (ePHI).
Collaborate with product managers, clinical stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver compliant software solutions and resolve complex production issues ensuring high availability.
Minimum Requirements
3–5 years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend expertise.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST API design, SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and DevOps basics (Docker, CI/CD).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields with minimum 2 years professional experience; or 4 years software engineering experience without degree.
Role is based in Bangalore/Chennai office with daily onsite work.

Experienced in designing and building HIPAA-compliant backend healthcare applications handling ePHI with focus on data privacy and regulatory compliance.
Skilled in full software development lifecycle including testing, CI/CD pipeline contributions, and production troubleshooting.
