Develop and implement sourcing strategies focusing on supplier selection, supplier development, and cost optimization for mechanical components in elevator and escalator manufacturing.
Lead localization projects, component qualification (PPAP), and supplier audits ensuring alignment with technical and quality standards.
Manage dual sourcing strategies, supplier capacity evaluation, cost management, and cross-functional coordination for new engineering programs and production needs.
Minimum Requirements
12 to 16 years of experience in strategic sourcing, preferably with exposure to Elevator, Automotive, Sheet Metal & Structural Fabrication, Heavy Duty Engineering, or Home Appliances sectors.
Mandatory strong mechanical process knowledge in component manufacturing; electrical knowledge is a plus.
Proficient in procurement software/tools and experienced in people management/team handling.
Work Experience Required: 12 to 16 years in relevant strategic sourcing roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in supplier and component development with strong expertise in mechanical manufacturing process and change management.
Capable of analyzing technical drawings and specifications to assess manufacturing feasibility and driving supplier development and capacity management.
