Own quarterly roadmap and backlog for one or more data engineering delivery teams focused on Databricks lakehouse platform.
Manage data platform health, capacity, cost, and reliability while implementing data KPI and metrics frameworks to drive continuous improvement.
Lead AI adoption enablement enterprise-wide and accelerate data onboarding and access to reduce time-to-data from months to days.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years relevant data/software engineering experience including 4+ years people leadership and product ownership.
Hands-on data engineering experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, MLflow) strongly preferred.
Experience in platform management — SLA ownership, cost management, tooling rationalization, build-vs-buy decisions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior-level leader with combined strong technical hands-on data engineering background and product management skills.
Experience shaping data and AI platform strategy based on direct engineering expertise and business needs.
Track record enabling AI-assisted engineering adoption and managing scalable, governed cloud data platforms in regulated industries is a plus, but not mandatory.
