Develop and deploy novel prototypes and machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems and improve algorithm accuracy and functionality.
Translate application requirements into problem statements and analyze/evaluate solutions including third-party offerings.
Provide guidance and leadership to junior researchers, potentially leading teams or projects, while integrating business and functional priorities.
Minimum Requirements
7-10 years of commercial experience in machine learning pipeline development, deployment, and maintenance.
Strong Python programming skills with emphasis on clean, modular, maintainable code and testing.
Experience with data manipulation, ML frameworks (EDA, feature extraction, modeling, hyperparameter tuning), and SQL for data exploration.
Bachelor's degree required; PhD preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in advanced ML techniques including correlation analysis, classification, clustering, anomaly detection, and time series forecasting using traditional and deep learning methods.
Familiar with cloud platforms and ML product tools such as Google VertexAI, BigQuery, CloudSQL, Compute Engine or equivalents.
Proven ability to mentor and guide junior to mid-level data scientists and engineers, with experience participating in Agile processes and communicating complex analytical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
