Design, build, and operate an Auto Publisher backend service to connect planning systems with image and metadata systems and prepare validated EPG data for external communication and press usage.
Implement and maintain automated, scalable workflows for validation, aggregation, transformation, and export of EPG-related data ensuring data quality, completeness, and publication readiness.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to automate publishing processes, reduce manual steps, and ensure clear responsibilities and robust error handling in data flow and integration.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
2-5 years of relevant work experience in backend engineering or related field.
Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, hexagonal architecture, and API integration for backend services.
Ability to work nights and weekends as required (variable schedule).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in designing backend services with robust domain logic and event-driven architecture preferably involving EPG data processing or similar data integration tasks.
Comfortable working in multi-stakeholder environments collaborating with product, editorial, communication, and engineering teams to create automated, traceable publishing workflows.
Skilled in implementing clean code, testable architecture, validation frameworks, and operational transparency to ensure resilient and maintainable data pipelines.
