Own full P&L analysis for ~50 retail departments with weekly/monthly KPI reviews including margin, supplier income, pricing effect, and stock-related metrics.
Lead budget planning and forecasting for Offer Management, prepare business cases, and support month-end financial projects.
Prepare and present reports and insightful commentary for sales, board meetings, and local authorities; collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Ops, and IT teams.
Minimum Requirements
University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling.
Proven experience in budget cycles, controlling, retail, and stock management environments (Tesco experience is a plus).
Proficiency in SAP, advanced Excel, VBA; experience with MS Access and Big Data environments advantageous.
Romanian language proficiency preferred for local reporting; knowledge of Romanian accounting standards highly desirable but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in handling retail financial controlling including complex P&L ownership across multiple departments.
Skilled in advanced data analysis and systems (SAP, Excel VBA), able to navigate big data and adapt to evolving financial systems.
Comfortable working within cross-functional teams and familiar with local/regional accounting practices, preferably with some Romanian market exposure.
