About This Role

Responsible for driving quality assurance and validation of 5G NR protocol features and nodes within 5G radio access network.

Accountable for end-to-end testing cycles including test strategy/design, test case preparation, execution, and automation for LTE/5G protocol software.

Perform debugging of complex gNodeB issues, log file analysis, and root cause identification for wireless telecommunications software.

Minimum Requirements

3 to 4 years of experience in Wireless Telecommunications or Networking with hands-on LTE/5G NR Layer-2 protocol software quality assurance.

Degree in B.E/B.Tech/B.S or M.S/M.Tech in EC, EE, CS or equivalent.

In-depth knowledge of LTE/5G NR 3GPP specifications especially protocols like 5G RRM, L1/L2, XNAP, X2AP, NGAP.

Proficiency in C++, Java, Python; experience with version control tools Git and Gerrit; understanding of cloud concepts including containers, Docker, Kubernetes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced individual contributor with proven integration, verification, feature and performance testing skills in 4G/5G wireless domain.

Strong technical background in 3GPP radio access standardization, ORAN split architecture, CloudRAN, and relevant networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, SCTP).

Comfortable working with test methodologies, simulators, log analysis tools (Wireshark, IPERF, QXDM), and agile environments with global teams.
