SAP Authorization and Security Specialist

Lead SAP S/4HANA security activities including system conversion, role redesign, and authorization optimization to align with new authorization concepts.

Design, maintain, and support SAP roles and SAP GRC modules ensuring compliance with security standards across upgrades, rollouts, and post-go-live phases.

Coordinate with functional teams and infrastructure to resolve authorization issues, support user provisioning, access management, and fulfill audit and compliance needs.

4-6 years of professional experience in SAP security and authorization.

Educational qualification: BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT), MCA, MBA (IT), or MSc (IT).

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA authorization concepts, SAP GRC (Access Control, Risk Analysis, ARM, EAM), and SAP Fiori security configuration.

Experience with SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), SAP BTP security administration, and role maintenance using PFCG.

Experienced in handling SAP S/4HANA security conversion projects including brownfield upgrades and rollouts with a focus on security optimization and compliance.

Ability to manage cross-functional coordination involving Basis, infrastructure teams, auditors, and functional users regarding SAP security and GRC.

Proficient in executing SoD risk analysis, remediation, and governance improvements for SAP authorization landscape.
