Design, develop, and validate braking control algorithms (ABS, EBS, ESC, TCS, HSA, RSC, brake blending) for commercial vehicle Brake ECUs using MATLAB/Simulink from concept to production release.
Perform requirements engineering, feature allocation, traceability, and support system validation including HIL/SIL/MIL testing and vehicle testing throughout development lifecycle.
Collaborate with global teams, customers, and suppliers on technical discussions, preparing and reviewing technical documentation and safety work products in compliance with automotive standards.
Minimum Requirements
6–8 years experience in automotive system engineering focused on commercial vehicle pneumatic braking systems and Brake ECU functions.
Strong hands-on skills with MATLAB/Simulink including model-based development and auto-code generation, plus embedded C software development experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Control Systems, Embedded Systems, or related engineering discipline.
Experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262), automotive communication protocols (CAN, J1939, UDS), and tools like ASCET, INCA, IBM DOORS, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, HIL/SIL environments.

Experienced in designing and implementing commercial vehicle brake control functions (ABS, ESC, EBS, etc.) with a proven track record in MATLAB/Simulink-based development and embedded software integration.
Comfortable managing end-to-end system development activities including safety analysis, diagnostics, fault handling, and vehicle validation in complex automotive environments.
Skilled at collaborating with international teams, engaging in customer-facing technical discussions, and managing compliance documentation in automotive standard frameworks.
