Plan and execute end-to-end migration of on-premises virtual machines to Microsoft Azure with focus on VM migration and Lift & Shift strategies.
Configure and manage Azure infrastructure components including Virtual Machines, storage, networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancers), and ensure secure connectivity using Site-to-Site VPN and ExpressRoute.
Implement disaster recovery setups (Azure Site Recovery), perform migration validation, monitoring with Azure tools, tuning, backup solutions, and troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime and optimized resource use.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years experience in cloud infrastructure with strong focus on Microsoft Azure, VM provisioning, migration tools, and Lift & Shift projects.
Hands-on expertise in Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancer), storage accounts, and migrating both Windows and Linux servers.
Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Azure CLI for automation and troubleshooting.
Relevant professional certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) strongly preferred; Educational qualifications include BE/BTech/BCA/BSc (IT)/MCA/MBA (IT)/MSc (IT).
