Lead end-to-end planning, preparation, and execution of SAP ERP / S/4HANA system upgrades, migrations, and conversions in hybrid cloud environments (IaaS & PaaS).
Manage 24/7 production support for SAP Basis landscapes including ECC, S4HANA, BW4HANA, and SAP PO systems ensuring high availability and performance.
Design, implement, and manage business continuity solutions such as clustering, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) for SAP landscapes, including OS/DB/hardware migrations using SUM, DMO, and HSR methods.
Minimum Requirements
5 – 7 years of experience as SAP Basis Senior Technology Consultant with at least 3 – 4 years in SAP upgrade and migration projects.
Hands-on experience with SAP Intelligent Suite Systems on hybrid environments (IaaS & PaaS), including end-to-end upgrades (EHP, S/4HANA, SPS) and at least one full OS/DB/hardware migration cycle.
Strong Linux and AIX administration experience; expertise in SAP HANA and Oracle database administration including performance tuning.
Work location: Must be willing to work onsite at customer location in Pune, including weekend maintenance activities; BE, BTech, BCA, BSc(IT), MCA, MBA(IT), or MSc(IT) degrees required or equivalent.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing mission-critical, 24/7 SAP production environments with strong customer-facing and communication skills to independently lead technical discussions.
Proven capability in running end-to-end SAP system transformations in hybrid cloud setups and integrating SAP CPI and BTP products.
Holds or pursues SAP certifications in S/4HANA conversion/upgrade, OS/DB migration, SAP Basis administration, or relevant public cloud certifications (e.g., SAP on AWS or Azure).
