Maintain reliability and performance of large fintech infrastructure through Linux/Unix system and network administration.
Implement IT operations best practices to ensure services are always available and participate in on-call rotation.
Leverage open source tools and cloud services to support and automate system reliability and operational tasks.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in Linux/Unix administration.
Strong proficiency in computer networking including IP, iptables, and IPsec.
Experience with MySQL and preferably MariaDB or Percona databases.
Scripting skills in Perl, Python, or Golang; experience with automation/configuration management tools like SaltStack.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced working with private cloud environments and Linux virtualization technologies such as KVM/QEMU.
Familiarity with container orchestration and NoSQL databases like Aerospike is a plus.
Able to manage data center-related activities and comfortable in on-call operations for uptime maintenance.
