Own and execute detailed test planning, test case design, manual and automated testing to validate software features for Train Control Office Suite products.
Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, QA leads, architects, and product managers to identify risks, clarify requirements, and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Contribute to improving test automation frameworks, maintain continuous integration testing practices, and support quality gates with test evidence and defect analysis.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or equivalent STEM discipline.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in both manual and automation testing of enterprise-grade software products.
Proficiency with automation tools and scripting languages (preferably Python, Robot Framework, Selenium), knowledge of CI/CD processes, and experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience working with testing and defect management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Rally, Azure DevOps), writing SQL queries, and exposure to Linux/Unix/QNX and Windows platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks that support UI, API, and integration testing with stable, reusable components and data strategies.
Comfortable working in Agile environments, actively participating in test strategy, risk-based planning, and continuous improvement of quality practices.
Demonstrates strong cross-functional communication skills, capable of collaborating across teams to improve testability, reliability, and delivery of complex software systems in regulated or safety-critical domains such as Rail signaling.
