Job Description
Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Own end-to-end procurement and supplier management ensuring timely PO placement and material delivery aligned to MRP requirements.
Accountable for supplier OTD, quality performance, and delivery of fulfilment KPIs to prevent line stoppages and support uninterrupted production.
Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics, Sourcing, and Supplier Quality teams to manage order fulfilment cycle and supplier onboarding.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a reputed institute.
Minimum 5+ years of procurement or buying experience.
Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle preferred), advanced Excel, and MRP/production planning.
Base location: Marhowrah (Saran), with travel to suppliers across India as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in supplier performance monitoring and improvement, with ability to lead corrective action and recovery efforts.
Strong commercial acumen with understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes to enable informed procurement decisions.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple suppliers/projects simultaneously with effective stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.
