About This Role
- Design and execute test cases, plans, and scripts for the Energy Management product line focused on Train Performance and Automation.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Software Engineers to define validation scope, set up lab equipment, and develop test automation strategies.
- Diagnose testing issues, log defects, monitor their resolution, and prepare detailed test reports documenting technical evidence.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering from a reputed institute with at least 70% academic performance.
- 2-3 years of work experience in software or system validation.
- Experience with communication protocols (RS232/485/422/TCP/UDP/MODBUS), protocol analyzers, and hardware/software in test loops (HiTL/SiTL).
- Knowledge of tools such as DOORS, IBM Quality Manager, CLM, and scripting languages like Python, LabVIEW, or Test Stand.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Has domain experience in Locomotive, Aerospace, or Automotive sectors relevant to software validation.
- Experienced operating within cross-functional teams for test strategy and execution in complex hardware/software environments.
- Capable of producing detailed technical documentation and handling defect management with a methodical and data-driven approach.
