Own and operate a significant area of the cloud platform, including Kubernetes multi-cluster, multi-region management, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and developer platform enhancements.
Lead reliability engineering efforts by instrumenting services for SLOs, managing on-call duties, incident leadership, alert tuning, and capacity planning in a production environment with strict availability needs.
Implement and maintain platform security controls and compliance automation, collaborate on security requirements for operating within carrier networks, and mentor mid-level engineers through design and code review.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years in infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE roles with clear ownership of production systems.
Strong production Kubernetes experience including cluster lifecycle, upgrades, networking, resource management, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP; infrastructure as code expertise (Terraform or equivalent) and proficiency in Go or Python for tooling development.
Direct production reliability ownership including on-call incident management and working knowledge of infrastructure security practices (IAM, secrets management, network policies, container hardening).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced operating engineer capable of independently scoping loosely defined problems to delivery and operation without supervision.
Familiar with hybrid cloud and edge infrastructure in addition to public cloud, able to handle irregular production environments.
Exposure to telecom or network infrastructure technologies, high availability systems (99.999%), compliance environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001), and cost engineering to optimize cloud spend.
