Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team responsible for the Managed Postgres service within ClickHouse Cloud, owning provisioning, failover, upgrades, observability, performance, and security.
Develop and execute a multi-quarter roadmap addressing customer and business needs with measurable milestones and operational excellence (SLOs, incident management, automation).
Provide technical guidance on architecture and tradeoffs while driving hiring and talent development to maintain system reliability and developer experience.
Minimum Requirements
8+ years software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineers in infrastructure, databases, or developer platforms.
Experience building and operating customer-facing stateful services with high availability, durability, security, and performance requirements.
Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or managed relational databases covering replication, high availability, recovery, upgrades, observability, or performance diagnosis.
Technical credibility to engage in architecture and incident management at a leadership level.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven ability to lead distributed engineering teams through ambiguity and complex parallel workstreams with strong execution judgment.
Experience combining technical leadership with product partnership to deliver customer-focused outcomes in infrastructure or database services.
Background in managed PostgreSQL or relational databases with familiarity in cloud platforms and infrastructure automation is preferred but not mandatory.
