About This Role
- Lead advanced financial analysis and cost optimization strategies for multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Design and implement cost allocation, chargeback models, and budget controls across business units.
- Own FinOps dashboards, data pipelines, and provide strategic financial insights to influence enterprise cloud investment decisions.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cloud cost optimization, infrastructure finance, or enterprise technology operations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP billing and pricing; proficiency with SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Experience with cloud cost management platforms (e.g., Apptio Cloudability, CloudHealth) and preferably FinOps Certification.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Operates independently with high autonomy, trusted to guide FinOps execution and influence cloud strategy.
- Experienced in collaborating with engineering, finance, and procurement teams to embed cost considerations into technical design and investments.
- Recognized subject matter expert in cloud billing, cost modeling, and FinOps best practices driving organizational FinOps maturity.
