Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts in a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) on rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Build, tune, and maintain detection rules; conduct proactive threat hunts; perform malware analysis; and automate response workflows using AI and SOAR platforms.
Track and report SOC metrics; coordinate incident response, vulnerability management, and collaborate with IT and Engineering to improve security posture.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
4–6 years of experience in security operations, security engineering, incident response, or related roles.
Willingness to work rotating shifts 24x7 including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Hands-on experience with SOC alert triage, SIEM/EDR detection tuning, threat hunting, malware analysis, SOAR automation, and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced SOC engineer capable of independently handling moderately complex security investigations and automation.
Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure), security monitoring tools, and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
Proficient in detection engineering, threat hunting, malware analysis, and operational security metric reporting in a high-paced SOC environment.
