Lead maturation of Gainsight's Product Security program, driving Secure by Design principles, threat modeling, and security architecture reviews across the software development lifecycle.
Increase security test coverage across active repositories, microservices, and endpoints using tools like SAST, DAST, and container scanning; manage security gates to block high-severity policy violations in builds.
Function as a technical team lead for a global security team and influence cross-functional teams including Engineering and Product.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Security Engineering, Application Security, or Product Security.
Proven experience in Product Security within modern SaaS or cloud-native environments.
Expertise in Secure SDLC, threat modeling, application and API security, and security architecture.
Role is hybrid based out of Hyderabad or Bengaluru, India; occasional travel required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience collaborating with Engineering and Product leadership to influence security architecture and strategy in SaaS products.
Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, Kubernetes, containers, and multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
Successful track record in driving vulnerability management and risk remediation programs and communicating technical risks to executive leadership.
