About This Role
- Lead maturation of Gainsight's Product Security program, driving Secure by Design principles, threat modeling, and security architecture reviews across the software development lifecycle.
- Increase security test coverage across active repositories, microservices, and endpoints using tools like SAST, DAST, and container scanning; manage security gates to block high-severity policy violations in builds.
- Function as a technical team lead for a global security team and influence cross-functional teams including Engineering and Product.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Security Engineering, Application Security, or Product Security.
- Proven experience in Product Security within modern SaaS or cloud-native environments.
- Expertise in Secure SDLC, threat modeling, application and API security, and security architecture.
- Role is hybrid based out of Hyderabad or Bengaluru, India; occasional travel required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience collaborating with Engineering and Product leadership to influence security architecture and strategy in SaaS products.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, Kubernetes, containers, and multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
- Successful track record in driving vulnerability management and risk remediation programs and communicating technical risks to executive leadership.
