About This Role
- Own and maintain the reliability, observability, and automation frameworks for key AWS-hosted production services within a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
- Lead incident management including serving as incident commander for complex cross-service incidents and conducting root cause analyses to drive permanent fixes.
- Build and operate infrastructure automation (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and implement safe deployment patterns to reduce manual intervention and improve system health.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles.
- Proven experience operating production workloads on AWS including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, and VPC.
- Working proficiency in Terraform and Git-based CI/CD tools (such as GitHub Actions).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent demonstrated skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with modern observability tools and practices (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) and SLO/SLI-driven operations.
- Skilled in scripting (Python or Bash) applied to automation and operational tasks within cloud environments.
- Comfortable working in a globally distributed team with responsibility for setting standards and mentoring junior engineers in a mid-senior level individual contributor capacity.
