About This Role
- Plan, manage, and deliver commissioning scope for 2-3 concurrent high-voltage substation or battery energy storage projects, covering from planning through energization, testing, acceptance, and turnover.
- Own schedule, resources, cost awareness, risk, technical coordination, stakeholder alignment, documentation, and issue resolution for assigned scope.
- Serve as primary commissioning contact for project teams, customers, utilities, OEMs, and partners; coordinate technical and field execution, manage compliance and safety.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in commissioning, startup, testing, construction, operations, or project delivery for utility-scale electrical facilities, including significant HV substation or BESS experience.
- Demonstrated ownership of technical project scope including schedule, resources, stakeholders, risk, issue resolution, documentation, and delivery commitments.
- Strong knowledge of HV/MV electrical systems, commissioning processes, safety standards (NEC, NFPA 70E, NETA, IEEE, NERC), and project management practices; P6 scheduling experience strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet project access requirements.

- Strong technical understanding of HV substations and BESS systems integrating commissioning, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Operates with discipline in schedule and resource forecasting, risk management, and stakeholder communication in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
