About This Role
- Manage and harmonize individual participant data from multiple pregnancy cohorts across India for large-scale pooled analysis on gestational weight gain (GWG).
- Perform statistical analyses using R/Stata with advanced epidemiological methods like mixed-effects models and IPD meta-analysis to study associations between GWG and maternal-newborn outcomes.
- Prepare scientific reports and manuscripts; collaborate with investigators from multiple institutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum two years post-M.Sc. experience in biostatistics or related research.
- Educational qualification: M.Sc. in Statistics or Biostatistics.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in R and/or Stata for data analysis.
- Age limit: 35 years; Contract position based in Bangalore.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with longitudinal data analysis and mixed-effects models in the maternal and child health domain.
- Capability to manage multi-centre pooled datasets and perform IPD meta-analysis for epidemiological studies.
- Proven scientific writing skills for preparing research reports and manuscripts in English.
