About This Role
- Lead development and maintenance of automated test scripts for UI and API testing using Playwright and other frameworks.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and automation frameworks ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate within Agile teams and leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance test design, development, and QA productivity.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing Life Cycle with strong hands-on automation skills.
- Proficient in Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript; Java experience mandatory, Python is a plus.
- Graduation degree required; location: Kochi.
- Experience with API automation frameworks like Karate or Rest Assured is mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building scalable, reusable automation frameworks and integrating with CI/CD tools.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and using AI-assisted software testing tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT).
- Strong technical skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and knowledge of testing tools and methodologies aligned with industry standards.
