About This Role
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing using Playwright, Karate, and related tools.
- Lead test automation initiatives to improve quality across functional, regression, visual, performance, and compatibility testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into comprehensive test plans and automation frameworks, driving continuous improvements in QA processes.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of work experience in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Strong hands-on skills with Playwright and Cypress for UI automation; experience with API automation frameworks such as Playwright API, Karate, Rest Assured, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Java; graduation degree required.
- Location: Kochi.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing scalable, reusable automation frameworks and integrating with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), DevOps practices, and use of AI-assisted automation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) for test development.
- Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional teams and driving automation quality improvements for enterprise-level software.
